The word on the street is that the Comfy Corner Cafe on Hollis has served its last (super-yummy) breakfast. Sigh…A new Aliant store is opening on Spring Garden Road. Signage is now up, electronic goodies to follow. Stay tuned…A tantalizing blue-and-yellowy storefront in Bayers Lake had the Ikea rumour mill working overtime this week. But, as expected, heart-breaker Ikea tells us: “There are no plans to expand in Halifax right now, so that building is definitely not Ikea’s.” Denied!
