Soon after today’s 16th anniversary issue of the paper started hitting the street, we realized there’s something kinda amiss with the cover. While it probably won’t hit the Inverted Jenny level of fame, it’s a pretty inauspicious way to start our 17th year of publishing. We’re printing the right cover now, and will be delivering it soon. Meanwhile, if you want a break from the online version of today’s paper, hunt around for copies of the wrong cover. A Joel Plaskett fan might just pay something for it on eBay. See if you can spot the differences between the two covers below.

  1. This is interesting. As a graphic design geek, I am curious about what happened. Did they miss printing the black plate in the CMYK sequence?

  2. They mistakenly used part of the cover from last week instead of the fresh cover we sent them for this week. Joel’s picture for this week, but a lot of words from last week.
