After studying design in New Brunswick, and getting inspired while interning in Vancouver, Annapolis Valley’s own Cassandra Burrell has brought her creations home to Nova Scotia—and as of this week she’s selling them from her own boutique, CassBurr Designs (1574 Argyle Street, Suite 5, the former Sailor Bup’s location).
Her current collection is full of neutral colours, feminine details and bohemian-inspired looks, but Burrell also happily designs custom-made and one-of-a-kind pieces. “It’s honestly a little bit of everything, made mostly using plant-sourced materials,” she says. “It’s kind of like, luxury comfort.”
CassBurr Designs is now open Monday-Saturday, 11am-7pm and welcoming visitors with open arms. The shop’s grand opening is scheduled for February 7 and, bonus, you’ll get 20 percent off your first purchase.
