In a message to members of its Facebook Group, the owners of the Brooklyn Warehouse (2795 Windsor Street, 446-8181) have offered a few delicious bits of info on the prospects of a new location.

And we quote:

“Without confirming if we have found that space, we can say we are moving forward to establishing something unique in Metro that we consider a ‘Brooklyn Warehouse Joint,’ meaning the concept will continue in the footsteps of what we are doing now, but will have its own character and identity. It will be bigger but more laid back (about twice the size, which is still small and comfy). It will have its own menus (but some of our ‘classics’ will be there to enjoy). It will be much more convivial in nature and will feature a ‘chef’s table’ of sorts (we even hope there’s room for a test kitchen!). It will be in an up-and-coming neighbourhood, just like we are in now (and just like places we get inspired from). It will be in a downtown setting, but it won’t be downtown. And finally, it will give us an opportunity to satisfy a whole new wave of people getting engaged with what they eat.”

  1. Hmmm, let the speculation begin! I’m wondering if it could be North End, or dare I say it…Dartmouth?!

  2. Dartmouth! Near TIBS would be fabulous!! ACtually there is a really gorgeous space right upstairs from them. :))
