Remember how Bridge Brewing Company was supposed to open this summer? Its opening has been pushed back to this October, because it’s waiting on an inspector from Ontario to certify the brewing equipment. Bridge is setting up in the former Bach’s Cafe space at 2622 Agricola Street, just across from Gus’ Pub.
Once Bridge gets the final word from the inspector, it’s ready to get brewing. “We’ve got three beers that we’re planning to launch with—we’re doing an abbey style double, we’re doing a take on a farm house ale, more in the Belgian style, and a Belgian blonde, so we’ve already got those geared up,” says owner Peter Burbridge. “We’ve got a few bars and restaurants on board with us. We’re geared to open.”
Those bars and restaurants include Brooklyn Warehouse, Gus’ Pub and in a restaurant opening in the Hydrostone this fall, Mother’s.
