Books R Us (6050 Almon Street) has closed. It was one of the last used CD and DVD emporiums in Halifax, a place to also get magazines, vinyl and video games. Open since 1988, it shut down at the end of September, and a sign in the window says “Thank you Halifax,” and that all stock was donated to the Salvation Army. Books R Us, you will be missed.
