“YES!” I said in my head when I was across the crosswalk from Ben. Looking totally calm, cool and collected (Ben—not me), I hung back on my side of the street and waited for Ben to cross. Man, am I happy I did.
A busser-learning-to-be-bartender at The Press Gang, Ben describes his summer style as “American work wear” (my heart broke) with a hint of “American dirt bag.” His stuff is classic, oversized and full of interesting silhouettes. Ben has been exploring different silhouettes as a summer-long project. Cool, right? His favorite piece of clothing that he owns is a pair of dirty jeans. And I mean real dirty—Ben’s only washed ‘em three times over a few years and that, I think, makes him love them all the more. And, you know? It makes me love them, too!
