Tammy MacDougall-Walker and Carolyn Marlow know the strain of balancing their wee ones with working at home. And instead of sitting around and complaining about it, they’ve thought up something really cool. Set to open on December 1 At Play Café (114 Woodlawn Road) will be “The Hub meets indoor playground,” says MacDougall-Walker. OK, it sounds like a wild concept but read on, tired moms, dads and caregivers.
The 5,200 square foot, open concept location, tucked into central Dartmouth’s Woodlawn Plaza, will house office-style space (with free WiFi!) alongside various play sections including a toddler zone, a climbing gym and a kiddie roadway. This way your kids can keep as busy as you are. Plus there’ll be private party rooms, for birthdays etcetera, that will double as conference rooms for meetings and presentations. One more thing—a full service cafe providing you with fuel in the form of caffeine, light snacks and sweets. So fun, right?
Until December comes, check out At Play Café’s Facebook page here, visit its website here or give these brilliant moms a call at 405-9500.
