Back in March, we reported that Argyle Fine Art (1559 Barrington Street, 425-9456) had its sidewalk sandwich signs stolen. The gallery-ists sent out the hounds, called in the cops, scoured the back alleys and garage sales, but all these months later have given up the hunt. What kind of people steal art gallery sidewalk sandwich signs? Bad people, that’s what kind.
But, turning the loss into an opportunity, the AFA folks got designers Ed Beals and Nick Brunt to work up a new sign and logo, and at least one sign has returned, sandwiching itself onto the sidewalk.
