What’s wrong? Abandoned car in Scotia Square parking
garage.

Who’s responsible? Crombie REIT, 429-3660.

Remarks: Rod, a reader, complains that this wine-colour Ford
Escort has been parked, after a fashion, on the Albermarle side of the
garage since February—so long that its tires have deflated, and
depriving him of a street-level space. “Yeah, I’ve been wondering about
that,” says a cheerful woman at the Crombie office. “If you find out,
let me know,” she says, directing me to the garage’s security office.
“Yeah, that’s been sitting there a long time,” says a bored security
guard. “You need to ask the people in the office about that.” So, I
dunno, Rod; the car seems to be caught in some sort of weird time-space
continuum wormhole. It’s a mystery of the universe.

  1. And this is a valid concern?? Its parked on private property and the Sobeys-owned Crombie isn’t really concerned about it so why is a citizen all upset? And why the fuck did the Coast waste space publishing this crap? If the complainant doesn’t like Scotia Square’s parkade he’s more than free to find alternate parking spaces elsewhere.

  2. Long as it has a permit to park there paid – it can stay there as long as its valid !!!! HEy dude theres your car !!!
