Come October 1 the people of downtown Dartmouth will be looking slicker than ever. The always dapper Sailor Bup’s Barbershop (5281 Sackville Street)—which opened its doors and revved up its clippers to downtown Halifax in early 2014, only to be voted Halifax’s Best Barber by you readers—announced earlier this week that it’ll be hopping on the ferry and expanding into Dartmouth. The second serving of barbershop/neighbourhood hangout  will set up shop at 7 Pleasant Street, bringing its signature homey vibe with it.
