This shithole of a city belongs to a shithole of a province. This place is bad now, and will NOT get better. From the little thug assholes stabbing and shooting each other to the adults being ignorant, waste-of-oxygen human beings. The tax rate, NS Power rip-off, water hikes, rent prices for shitholes while working for fuck-all an hour working for assholes, the drivers. Such a waste of a beautiful part of the world. Politicians are fucking useless. I don’t understand how this shithole keeps getting built up. Are people really moving here? WTF is wrong with you? Me and my family are fucking OUT! Enjoy the shithole nightmare AKA Nova Scotia. OH PS: Where is this fucking GODLY ship yard contract that is supposed to boom the economy? Oh that’s right! It’s Nova Scotia. – Nova Shitholia

  1. yyyyyeeaaaaaa…. if you could go ahead and include all the maritimes with this bitch that’d be greaaaaat.

This is a tired topic isn’t it? possibly a troll so i’ll try my best to be angry with you for leaving..

FINE LEAVE!! SEE IF WE CARE YOU GRASS IS GREENER SHE-WITCH!!! WE LOVE NS WITH OUR ROCKS AND TREES AND OUR SMOKERS THAT ASSAULT BUS STOP PEOPLE!!

  2. How is it the place is bad (and won’t get better) yet “…this shithole keeps getting built up”?

Yes, politicians are fucking useless; here, there and in the place in which you believe the grass is greener.

Yes, people are really moving here – ask Stats Can. Why? Because this a beautiful part of the world, and other reasons that are of those who move here.

Did you move here because of the shipyard contract? Yeah… didn’t you realize that “Politicians are fucking useless”?

    Bye!

  3. I moved here because y’all are moving away and the real estate outside the city is dirt, dirt cheap. Now y’all move back so I can sell it back to you at a gain. That’s how an economy works my friends.

  4. Yup, it actually is pretty good here. There’s a reason rich-ass ‘mericans come up here and buy up the coastline.

  5. Funny thing, the ‘merican’s aren’t rich, they are usually just upper middle class… compared to the typical out-house family here they are fuckin’ Donald Trump though… Then they realize how much the locals resent them and their money and they start talking.

  6. anyone know how much it costs to build a road? not like, a freeway, just a reasonable road into a piece of property. 400 feet. up a smallish rise with trees on it. the trees would have to be cut down of course.

  7. When I read this great, wild rant, I immediately got a mental picture of Lewis Black pointing his finger and delivering it.
I prefer to use the term NOVA SCROTUM.

  8. Enjoy your new paradise where all the politicians are honest and do nothing but good for their areas and constituents. And there are next to no taxes but yet there are non stop services for everyone, and nothing in the provincial or municipal infrastructures ever wears out breaks down etc. And all your neighbours and co-workers are non-stop friendly and totally supportive of you all the time. And the sun shines and the unicorns play all day. I doubt even Pollyanna ever lived in such a ‘weird’ place. Be interesting to hear what you say about that place in 5 or 10 years. It may work out that way for you – if so great, but don’t bet the farm on it. N.S. may be far from perfect, but it is not the bottom of the barrel either. Though at times it may seem close to it, then one reads the news and sees even more idiocy elsewhere.

  9. I heard that the shipbuilding contract was delayed until Russell Crowe had finished Noah, his maritime experience was much sought after, he was a consultant on Bluenose 27 and categorically denies that the rudder issues can be linked to him.

  10. But, we do have a world class library, I can’t wait for it to open, it looks spectacular. We need more buildings like this.

  11. People aren’t moving here… well, not smart people anyways.
    That’s common knowledge.
For every 10 people entering, another 12 leave.
Soon with the majority of the students gone, we have yet another out-flux as well.

Such a beautiful place (when it’s not grey and morose) but I still wouldn’t want to live there.

  12. The CBC were given a tour and they showed the view from the 5th floor, which will become a cafe, so it will soon turn into a Starbucks in the sky. The view was incredible. I hope they have good security to keep the untermensch out and the bums from hanging around asking for change.
