To the rage-a-holic who blared her horn and screamed at me out her open car windows on Almon St today: what the hell?

Yes, I’m on a bike. Yes, I am as far to the right as I can get without being clotheslined by the side mirrors of the parked cars along the street. Yes, I am trying to not get in the way of the cars, even though I have a right to be on the road. Yes people have parked on both sides, narrowing the street. Yes, there is oncoming traffic.

I am not sure how that justifies your screaming & honking at me. Did you expect me to turn into Casper and drive on through all the parked cars just so you wouldn’t have to slow down for 2 seconds until the oncoming traffic passed so you could go around me?

I’m sorry I exist lady, but I do, and I would never, ever treat another human being like that. I do drive a car too, and there is no need for behaviour like that. —Minding my own business on my bike

  1. Get off the road you idiot. Cars rule. Go take your training wheels to the park ass face. You have a car? Drive it! I bet its a shitty smart car. Go eat some tofu you hippy. I hope the soy it comes from is polluted with my Buick exhaust. If i see you in the streets your going to get a good yellin at.

  2. Ha…. another lame ass who figures he can stir something up by ridiculing a bitcher. Hey Jizzy… perhaps if you were able to ride a bike you’d not have a fat ass on which to sit for hours upon hours using all your brain CELL to come up with such stupid comments. What a gommick.

  3. Actually you do not have a “right” to impede the flow of traffic.
If you can’t keep up, get out of the way.
After traffic’s cleared, then off you go , you slow moving speed bump !

  4. If the OP was doing nothing wrong, why care? Maybe the driver was on the rag, found out her husband was getting some skin on the side, her kid had just been arrested for possession with intent to sell, and she had gotten a Timmies double-double but it was bitter. Oh and her herpes is acting up.

  5. This is probably the same bitch who honked her horn and yelled at my mom because she didn’t go on a green because she couldn’t clear the intersection (remember that bitch — about blocking intersections?) in bayers lake during rush hour.

She pulled up beside my mom and went off on her. After my mom told her that she wasn’t going to block an intersection just for her she started screaming at my mom about how she has her license number. My mom and dad just laughed at her (though my dad did goad her a bit because he’s kinda like that, heh).

People like that/this need to get bent, OP.

  6. PG, your maternal instincts are showing…

and Kitty, I’d accidentally blocked off a lane once near the bicentennial on-ramp.
I’d much rather have a couple people pissed behind me than a whole lane pissed and pointed at me ready to charge through.

  7. That was funny, Cranky.

Today, on my way home while trying to turn left, I got honked at for not running over a pedestrian and not ignoring the fact that the right turn vehicle had the right of the way. It was pretty sad.

  8. I can’t believe this, but I agree with Sebastian_. Driver had a bad day. I sentence her to get behind the wheel of a large vehicle and try navigating Gottingen St. midday.

  9. Hay PDG — my mom and I were on your bus last week. She pointed out that you were smiling mid trip just while driving and commented on how you were a great driver.

I told her it was a guy from the coast bitch site who doesn’t know who I am but I know who he is and then I felt all creepy and gross.

  10. Yeah, you should PK, but using the methods you used to find me (in reverse), I was able to kinda figure out who you were too. Your mom really liked the A/C, I remember that.

  11. Hahahaha…. PK’s been caught. I wonder how long you guys are going to go before actually acknowledging each other. I remember telling Trinket I knew who she was but then not revealing my own identity. Was a funny little game… i finally gave in after about a week. Was funny watching her try to guess as I visited her establishment every morning. Alas… then she left and my life has been upside down ever since…
