I don’t give a fuck what religion you are or what your dietary preferences are, but I am getting fucking sick of the “no-bacons” coming to the restaurant where I work and not shutting the fuck up about it. We get it. You don’t eat bacon. You only need to say it ONCE! You don’t need to repeat it at the end of every fucking sentence; we aren’t fucking idiots, we understand what “no bacon” means. Honestly this goes for anyone being a repetative little shit when they order, but to the no-bacons in particular: Shut the fuck up.

I’d be willing to bet on two things:
1. Their request for no bacon is not made repeatedly.
2. The Bitcher has a degree of intolerance for people who have religious dietary restrictions.
@Agra Phol: Or maybe they actually work in food service and have a legit complaint? I work in fast food and this actually happens a lot. Maybe not as much as the Bitcher is implying, but I can definitely see why someone would get annoyed; I know it annoys me sometimes. No one likes having instructions repeated to them like they’re a small child that doesn’t understand.
I often overhear people in restaurants giving the server detailed explanations about why they don’t want bacon, diary, gluten, nuts, etc. I think simply asking “Is there xyz in that dish?” or stating your preference “No bacon.” will suffice. The server doesn’t care what your reason is or want to know your medical history.
BTW, for those of you who are concerned about eating healthy food, pork fat is a nutritious food. See number 8 on this list and take the bacon! http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20180126-t…
Just to play devils advocate….I think we have all ordered something a specific way and had it not come prepared the way we asked for? If not I would venture to say the vast majority of people that have eaten out on multiple occasions has had this happen at least once. And no offence to the fast food industry but if we are talking about one of those establishments then orders get messed up all the time, and that’s without any special instructions!
That said, maybe the people being “extra” insistent have had this happen many times on many occasions, thus feel the need to make sure to repeat it as many times as they feel necessary to ensure their food is made accurately. Now, I am not saying that the action they are taking is not annoying, of course it is, BUT, I also can understand why someone might be doing it.
End advocating of Devil.
How many more times do you need to say “fuck”? There are better ways to get your point across. Perhaps you are the problem.
@RBF I think that if you are annoyed by reasonable requests spurred by religious or other dietary restrictions then you need to check yourself.
With that said, I stand by my comments. Haligonians are not as tolerant, let alone as accepting as they let on.
No bacon for me either, I find it too salty.
