Gotta love the 24-hour Walmarts. Clearly smart consumers these days are busy enough that they need to do their shopping at 4am, at big box American chains.
I wonder what % of The Coast readers aren’t counter-culture indy music listening vegan anti-car types who only buy their electronics at name-brand dealers? Judging by what gets the biggest ad-space, not many. Ha ha. Pabst Blue Ribbon!
lannea….. you are missing the point of 24 hour walmartsThey dont expect any real sized crowds in there to shop at them hours. It’s just that they already have staff that is there overnight anyways. The only thing they do is have a security guard that hangs out at the front door, and a cashier. The cashier isnt standing at the till waiting all night, she locks her till and goes and cleans around the registers and restocks shelves and shit. It costs them nothing to open the door. What is the point of closing the doors if you are fully staffed at them hours anyways? Go in some night, the over night crew has boxes everywhere restocking shelves. They hardly have any customers. It isnt like that matters, because the same staff would be there doing the exact same thing.
