I’m gonna totally ignore the complete lack of planning in this city in regards to road construction and just complain about drivers.
Bumper to bumper traffic and of course one or two cars always squeeze in to block the intersection. Thanks! Next, the Armdale roundabout. If you can’t read the signs clearly indicating which collector lane you’re in and more importantly where its going to take you then you should be on a bus. Then to top it off don’t try to change lanes and force your way in after you realize your mistake. The roundabout has solid lines for a reason!
And lastly, cyclists. What’s with the one meter rule? If I’m first at a red light and some cyclist nuzzles up to me then I can’t legally accelerate. One meter should really work both ways and cyclists should stack in traffic like everyone else. Well mainly those of us that pay taxes, have insurance and buy gasoline.

& when bike-lanes are rare and motorists pass us anyways (frequently dangerously) it’s better for us to stay to the side
If a bike makes it to the light first do you stop behind them or pull up beside them ? Most drivers pull right up beside us. Should be the same logic you would think but it’s a do as I say kinda thing not a do as I do I guess.
