You were really sweet and I was kind of bitchy. I’m really sorry I took my bad day out on you. I wasn’t trying to be a bitch, I was just frustrated I couldn’t get my work cheque cashed. I know it was dated for today and not yesterday, but no one has ever caught that before so I just assumed they didn’t care that I was cashing it a day in advance. You were just doing your job, and doing it well I might add. I’m just overtired and frustrated trying to get a paper finished.

You were great and I apologize!! —P-Fire

  1. Yes, unless you’re claiming to come from bread, or that you are a pencil. Il y a certaines choses qui sont perdus dans la traduction.

  2. lol that it is. I’m actually surprised my French is still this good after 5 years of not really using it much at all.

  3. Up until March I worked in a French environment and interacted with my clients in French… I love it, but my written is not the best… I always hated grammer.

  4. the boy, who took french immersion has excellent writing skills, his speaking skills are not bad-depending on whom he is speaking to

  5. I took French Immersion since Kindergarten also… I just found la grammaire was not as focused on. I can speak and understand fluently, but I find writing business emails intimidating.

  6. We never had French immersion where I went to school unfortunately. I did take the highest level of French available to me up until grade 10, though.

  7. Moi aussi PF. It wasn’t until university that I became comfortable using the formal grammaire… but that was 6 years ago, and I fear it’s left me for my more more ingrained, and not nearly as useful, habits of high school. I wish I was more fluent again, I miss it terribly, but I love using it when I can… time to book another trip to France. Le sigh.

  8. Oh my…the first few posts were quite entertaining! It brought a few laughs to an otherwise mediocre day…thanks!
