Try looking outside the downtown core. There are a lot of good places in the outskirts of town (and even *gasp* the north end!).
What is it with people in this city? What makes them think that because they pay north of 1000 they deserve to get a palace? Look people, if you’re tired of shitty landlords who bone you out of every dollar, rent a shit hole apartment that only costs 700 a month and pocket (I mean save it) the rest and BUY A HOUSE! Pretty simple really, then you don’t have to worry about shitty living conditions! 1200 a month buys a decent home!
