To the customers who called out the old man that was cursing at my co-worker, thank you. Thank you so, so much. I’ve been in fast food for over 10 years (yeah, it’s sad, I know) and today was only the second time in all those years that customers took a stand for us minimum-wage employees being abused.
And there were THREE of you that all spoke up completely on your own! We get more shitty people coming through than you can imagine, screaming at us over stupid shit, and knowing that even just a few of you were willing to speak up on our behalf gives me at least a little bit of my faith in humanity back. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
