Thanks to the Canadian Taxpayer Federation for bringing up the issue of MLA pensions again. This province needs to live within its means and to do that there is a need for an appropriate type of pension for the politicians.
Two other things I wish they would look at:
1) The issue of public sector workers who have a pension from another workplace and then qualifying for an MLA pension (double-dipping). What is the solution for this problem CTF?
2) The salaries of premiers across the country and where Nova Scotia ranks. Where does NS rank CTF?
