Horrible roads. I hate the fucking roads, half the drivers couldn’t tell their ass from their head, the cyclists want the best of both worlds and the university students are like little retarded lemmings running off a cliff. It’s the only place where in one day you can have some jackass scratch your car while trying to parrallel park, break an axle on a pothole you could fit a small baby in all because you were avoiding the driver who seems to be doing everything but driving, have a cop stop you for not wearing a seatbelt and ticket you, while assuming you’re a drug dealer because your cars a piece of shit and accusing you of having drugs stashed in a crushed quizno’s cup…

“assuming you’re a drug dealer because your cars a piece of shit and accusing you of having drugs stashed in a crushed quizno’s cup…”
Can’t say I’ve ever had that happen to me. Also, I’ve noticed an overall improvement in the quality of Nova Scotia’s roads in the past 10 to 15 years. I guess the Progressive Conservative government couldn’t have been that bad after all! If you think they’re bad here, check out PEI or New Brunswick.
I guess I haven’t lived in the HRM long enough because I have a hard time understanding the bitches about buses and driving. Everywhere you go there are people who suck at driving. I’ve ran into them here but I can’t say that the quality of driving in Halifax is worse than elsewhere. In fact, I would have to say that Cape Breton has some of the worst drivers because the population consists of old people wo came back to CB to retire and young people going to school so they can get the hell out. Neither of these groups of people can drive (at least in my experience).
And as far as the Transit system, I’ve been taking the bus every day for 7 months and only had a problem once and it was because of that ridiculous “snow storm” last Friday.
