To whomever left a racist note on my friend’s car, you obviously live nearby enough to observe the race of the car’s owner and then you take the time to act on such a disgusting sentiment? You should probably go fuck yourself. You’re a coward. I can’t imagine feeling that violated on my own street, in my own home. In a perfect world, we’d find out who you are and beat the ever-living shit out of you. —Maybe Someday

So.. in your perfect world violence & vengeance is permissible??
I love how EVERY SINGLE TIME, sorry that’s a lie. A vast MAJORITY of the time there is a post about racism, race etc here the focus is never on the issue of race and act of racism. The discussion is always moved to something else eg the original poster is just sensitive, took it the wrong way, misinterpreted, etc.
Or in this case, lets not address the valid concern someone would have finding a racist note on their car, and having their feeling of safety be violated (at home no less) considering we live in such a messed up and increasingly violent world. So, I assume, in a moment of outrage and enflamed passions, someone *gasps* got upset enough to threaten someone with physical harm! How many people curse at people and say things like this, EVERY DAY DURING RUSH HOUR ON THEIR COMMUTE JUST OVER SOME MINOR ROAD RAGE!?!?! Actually it was less of a threat and more of a musing truly, if you look at the language only, as they gave a hypothetical wish scenario, instead of saying “you bet your ass when we find out who you are we’re gonna stomp the living shit out of you”. It’s the difference between saying “I wish I could beat you up” which while unpleasant is not really a threat, however, “I’m going to beat you up” is a direct threat.
So with all that under consideration, you chose to focus on posters negative response to the situation, and not what brought them to that response? So what would you surmise is the bigger issue here, the fact that someone, in real life, received a racist note on their car which gave them feelings of anxiety and being unsafe, or their reaction to those feelings and how they would beat someone up in a hypothetical best world (to them) scenario. You seem to be more concerned with the wished upon harm that come to the person that left the note (who is clearly a racist by all indications), and not so much concerned that a note was left that made someone feel strongly enough to have said reaction.
Don’t get me wrong, I actually FULLY agree with your point! I don’t believe in vigilante justice. If you feel/felt violated, call the police and have them look into it. Those of course being just 2 ways to handle the situation. ALL THAT SAID, I guess I don’t know jacksh*t as you have 17 likes which is more the double your dislikes, so yeah. PSA; RACIST PEOPLE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LEAVE RACIST NOTES ON THE VEHICLES, HELL LET’S GO WITH HOMES AND BASICALLY ANY PROPERTY/ITEM OWNED BY A GROUP YOU WISH TO ATTACK. “VICTIMS” SHOULD FEEL FREE TO NOT GET TOO OVERLY UPSET OR SAY ANYTHING TOO HARSH OR RASH IN REACTION TO THIS BECAUSE THAT IS THE BIGGEST WRONG IN THIS SCENARIO. Fack it, I’ve been railing against people that deny climate change considering the crazy weather (it should probably be cold and snowy in January) and number of devastating catastrophes these days, but just speed it all up at this point so I can get off this damn ride.
Also, please keep the cries of social justice warrior down, if that was the case I’d post all over here all the time, but I don’t, and honestly only speak to friends and family about this sort of stuff in private conversations. So SJW all over social media I am not, but sometimes a post or reply here sticks out so much that I would be remiss and feel guilt and remorse if I didn’t reply. @WesLee I am in no way saying you are racist or condone the behaviour described by the OG poster. I am saying your response is a bit tone deaf, and it seems most discussions around important issues are these days. If we could all be more cognizant of this we could probably have actual meaningful dialogue about some of these important issues and probably figure some things out, BUT, I honestly think we are destined to continue to get bogged down in silly back and forth straw man arguments, and replies like the @WesLee which miss the point (or ignores it) of the og post.
If you actually made it this far, you can have your pick of prizes! Thoughtful reply to disagree or agree, call me names, accuse me of “reverse racism” and being a SJW, call me too sensitive, tell me to grow some thicker skin, tell me “its not that serious”, pick out some spelling or grammar errors, insult me personally, or just hit like or dislike!
