To the pedestrian dashing across Quinpool this morning to catch the 20 bus downtown… We all watched in horror from the bus as you dashed in front of it and then a Purolator truck – both of which had to slam on the brakes to avoid killing you. Your non-nonchalant attitude & annoyance at the driver for lecturing you when you got on the bus shows your immaturity and lack of understanding that you COULD HAVE DIED. —My eyes are open

Always loved that line. Ever see Sir Patrick in the TV adaptation of “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” He had basically a 2 minute wordless scene with Alec Guinness and he stole it. 4 years later when they did the sequel “Smiley’s People” they brought him abck to play the same character. Again no words, just facial expressions. Awesome stuff

Quinpool can be a bit scant on crosswalks in some locations. Proper marked crosswalks that is because remember, every intersection is a crosswalk!
