Your children do not have the right to disturb my peace. They can screech in your house, not in our adjoining back yards. You know my feelings on noise; it was quiet before you moved here. It will remain that way, even if I must make noise complaints. And I will. Yes, and you know I will. —Take heed…

  1. So if it’s not the children, it’s the cars? The motorbikes? People walking?

You live in a town and you have neighbours loser!

  2. OP you’re an idiot. You don’t own the whole neighbourhood and you are the king of that domain. Kids have a right to play in their own part of your adjoining yard at reasonable hours. I already feel ad for the police you’re going to irritate with your bullshit noise complaints on a daily basis.

  3. Lol @ noise complaints about children playing in their own backyard. I bet that’ll be top priority for cops overrun by murders, rapists, thieves and such. I bet they laugh in your face, hang up on you and flag you as the neighborhood nutjob.

  4. You sound like a spectacular human being. You know that you were once a child, right? Let kids be kids without their parents having police called upon them for the noises the children make while playing. Sheesh!

  5. OP, lighten up a little. Children are fine when they’re parboiled and lightly seasoned.

  6. Being not a fan of kids myself, I can understand not enjoying them screaming blue murder while just outside my window. You know what I do? Let them freaking be kids and scream and run around and be stupid! Unless there’s a more serious reason for them screaming, like one of them got hurt, etc. and that’s not being addressed by their parents/guardians. Why? Because kids are kids. And they’re loud. Fact of life. Please never procreate.

  7. Hi neighbor, (can’t be 100% sure but judging by the comments your type is thankfully a rare breed)
I have resisted the urge to respond to this low vibration rant for a few days but the more I thought about it I realized you are taking a shot at my children and that doesn’t roll with me. In case anyone is actually following this, my kids are almost 13 and 11..well past the age of screeching. I am proud to say that my wonderful girls love to play outside and they are very inclusive of all the neighborhood children. Even the younger international children who originally felt a bit isolated due to language barriers. Or the autistic boy who really didn’t have anyone to play with. My girls have welcomed one and all with open arms as “play” is an international language. They have been brought up to respect people’s differences and accept all kinds. In this day and age when most kids are glued to a screen, mine are not. My wife and I believe in exercise and the benefits of being outdoors. So neighbor…continue to vibrate low, we won’t sink. The lemonade stands, water ballons fights, street yard sales as well as the street parties will absolutely continue!!
