While this problem isn’t unique to any one part of HRM, there are a few places that are particularly bad. Cunard and Maynard (specifically, the area around the fenced-in park) are absolutely littered with dog shit. It’s disgusting. Most people don’t enjoy picking up poop, but it’s part of pet ownership. If you don’t want to clean up after your dog, you shouldn’t have one. —Grossed out

Even worse than the dog shit are the bags that are everywhere now that the snow is gone. I think the punishment for tossing shit bags in the snow or hanging them on a fence or tree should be to spend an hour up to your neck in a barrel of ripe dog shit. …. and I’m only being a little sarcastic.
