Has anyone ever noticed how slippery parking lot paint is when wet?! Or am I the only one who notices?!?!
I’m not sure if I am happy no one saw me fall flat on my back in between two cars yesterday or should I be scared that I could have just laid there until someone came across me in pain. Why would someone decide to use such dangerous material when I am sure there must be another less slippery option for painting all those lines in parking lots. It blows my mind that I haven’t heard of anyone seriously hurting themselves or that the city hasn’t gotten into a little trouble for this. Maybe they have, who really knows?! Either way these lines are DANGEROUS!! —Concerned and Sore

Was it the paint or the cum-fuck-me-pumps you were wearing which caused you to fall? Those shoes were invented for you to end up on your back…….didn’t you know that? All the guys know it.
Do you normally walk through wet paint ( traffic paint dries super fast)you dumb fuck.READ THE THE FUCKING SIGNS and maybe you will stay out of the parking lot .Fuck there are some stupid people around.
I think most people realize that paint is slippery when wet so they just don’t step on it, which is why you don’t hear anything about it.
LOL
Um “YOU”, I think OP meant that it had just rained or was raining and there was “water” on the paint which decreased the coefficient of friction to a point where walking normally would cause gravity to pull their ass to the ground.
Fuck there are some stupid people around.
Crocks are deadly on wet floors and wet paint. I love to wear them in the summer, but they suck for safety
Try not drinking so much before you go shopping.
I’m with m_kegg on this one…i am pretty sure the OP meant rain wet, not just painted wet.
I got the same kind hearted empathy back in April when I wrenched my ankle in a pot hole and bitched about it, OP. It’s still not 100%.
I feel your pain and say to all of the above on your behalf, fuck you all.
This happened to me too! I was going in the cross-walk of a grocery store, where there are a lot of unavoidable diagonal wet paint lines as is the case for cross-walks. Fell on my knees! So embarrassing! Also, I was wearing normal, practical shoes, not pumps!
OP, it’s just you. You don’t see cars slipping and sliding across those painted lines. Learn how to walk.
This has happened to me more than once (sober and normal shoes on)I always forget that the paint is as slippery as hell until my legs go out from underneath me. I find flip-flops the worst.
I scrapped all the toenail polish off my toes (along with the skin)last time i did it.
silly bear… it’s funny cause he can’t read….

Flip-flops are terrible shoes in general. They provide little to no support and are actually really bad for your feet.
Flip flops are the only pair of shoes that are *actually* comfortable, I find. I buy one size bigger than my shoe size and wear that shit until the snow flies.
I actually find flip flops more comfortable to go walking in than sneakers.
Well, they’re bright yellow lines OP so just keep an eye out for them. The painted lines are slightly smoother though I have never slipped on them.
The crosswalk lines at grocery stores tend to be closer together and you are SUPPOSED to cross on the crosswalk, not avoid it, there should be a little disclaimer. After i have slipped several times i asked some friends if they ever did and surprisingly they all did.
Lolz, if you think wet pianted lines are slippery to walk on, try it on a motorcycle.
don’t worry Brend… in her case, the flip flops are pulling double duty so they’re warranted.

L M A O…at ‘you’
Ever heard of “RAIN” you ? …makes the painted lines slippery & i’ve noticed that wearing sneakers.
Also they do make nonslip paint, they add a grit to it, like sand .
I’ve slipped on it too! Especially if it’s been re-painted recently. Sucky. I’m a complete klutz though. Fell at work last week, skinned my knee and ripped my pants. All because a step down which used to be there, isn’t there any more. That’s right. I fell on flat ground 🙁
Ahhh… Hugo… 😀
Everybody has been a klutz at one time or another, even Wayne Gretzky tripped over the blue line 🙂
Hi Rosie 😉
And when Wayne the Pain did that I laaaaaaughed!
Hey Hugo… what up?
I still have your house warming gift Rosie, (house, not apartment, right?) it was 2:30am by the time I was going by and all I could think of was bed, err…sleep 😉
