Dear LGBTQ,
You are the most inclusive community I know. It is an honour to hang with you. I think it is time to step up your game and add one more letter. S as in straight. —SLGBTQ Supporter

As a gay man, I support this. Spread the love my straight brothers 😉
As a gay man, I would fuck my straight bros.
Not all of us are so cozy with the other letters. I fail to see how the issues faced by gay men liken to those of the trans community; gender-identity and sexual orientation do not equate.
Halifax Pride has gone as far as excluding certain populations of gay men because they don’t fit the “family-friendly” mold yet open the doors to other groups; so again another example of not being inclusive.
This is a joke right!? LGBTQ2+ already includes a letter for allies like yourself. The plus includes pansexual, intersex and ALLY. This would include those who love to hang with us. I think putting “S” at the front is redundant and just not awesome. We love our allies and every member of the LGBTQ2+ community.
Whaaaaaaa! Why isn’t this about me? Whaaaaaaa!
Dear SLGTB Supporter,
You know what, I agree wholeheartedly, we definitely should be working towards creating more solidarity between the straight and the lgbt community. However, before you keep your current stance we need to make sure we are on an even playing field. So if you truly believe ‘S’ should be added, you’ll have to agree to the following:
-There should be 30 states where Cisgender people can get fired simply on the basis of your gender much like the 30 states you can currently be fired in for being transgender. Straight people should be able to be fired in 24 states much like the 24 states where you can be fired for being gay, lesbian or bisexual.
-Should there ever be a public health crisis that kills all the members of the straight community and initially be seen as a straight-only, it should be ignored on a state-wide and national level by all government agencies, and, research should be hindered.
-Should parents of straight children feel that their children need to embrace an LGBT lifestyle, it should be totally legal for those parents to send their children to torture camps to un-teach the straight lifestyle.
-It should be totally acceptable in courtrooms across this country for Transgender people to argue that they panicked when they murdered straight/cisgender people who didn’t immediately disclose their gender identity.
For the sake of brevity this will be the final entry here, the monolithic LGBT congress that totally exists will have our lawyers draft up an exhaustive list of terms. Should you accept, we will have a general meeting soon thereafter in which we will vote to enact this change.
Yours Truly!
A Concerned Citizen
I am a gay man, and I still don’t understand all the letters. Respectively.
