Maybe next time your reporter might think about how what she is writing is going to affect the person she’s writing about. Lucy is amazing. The piece on her was terrible. I heard That Frank magazine is hiring, maybe Holly Gordon wants to apply.

what is this referring to?
yeah now I’m curious. Also it’s not the reporters fault how things spin out after the paper goes to press. if they worried about that, nothign would ever get reported!
are you kidding me?!? A writer can’t quote what isn’t spoken by the interviewee dumbasses. If De’cout can’t curb her badmouth blather for the duration of an interview on her new TEACHING JOB who’s responsible? She had a say in participating in that interview AND likely in having the story run in the first place. The lady’s got some experience under her belt so should really know better, right? Though seriously Lucy, good luck in your job hunt, I genuinely hope you find a teaching job.
It was probably her association with the TPB’s that got her canned, not the article, though that probably gave pole-stuck-up-asses parents something to talk about. I guess thats why we have unions, if she was in the public system, totally legal shit you do in your own time won’t mean shit if you’re qualified up the ass and know your shit.
Sorry, but the chick did the interview. It wasn’t anyone’s fault but her own for badmouthing her jobs, and sounding like, in my opinion, a total snotty bitch.
I don’t know about other people that live under rocks, but everyone and their dog knows that when TBP cast members do media shit they always do it in character. Or maybe Bubbles really is retarded?

In the maritimes, we tend to make small news, bigger than what it actually is, however in this case I disagree….I dont think Lucy had a hard time getting herself fired. Personally, I wouldn’t want my own kids or others being taught by a coke head. Did they even do an interview before hiring her?Someone needs to send this girl to rehab…..
I want to say that I feel for Lucy because she was obviously trying to have fun instead of being actually candid or sincere, and if she really believed that children are simply hellspawn then it doesn’t follow that she would seek out a career as a schoolteacher. You have to wonder about a someone applying for their first teaching job with the unfortunate bias of being in the cast of Trailer Park Boys, who would sabotage themselves so spectacularly as to tell a reporter that all children “are basically evil”…
(Before it’s pointed out, I realize in reading the quote in the Globe story that I didn’t quote Lucy *exactly*. In this case, I think it’s essentially the same difference, though.)
