The website is cool, Coast! But, come on, it’s far from perfect. It cheeses me off that the restaurant section can be sorted by price but only by dollar sign (what the hell does $$$$ mean?) Let’s make it our own!

What do you mean? You don’t like the dollar signs? Or you want them explained more clearly? Or that you want to take over the site?
Ah, thought that would get your attention! I’m thinking maybe showing dollar values in parenthesis beside the dollar signs on the main page or perhaps just the values themselves (if you wanna keep it clean). The site takeover… hmmm…. I’d rather not. Maybe I should have been a little more clear on that point. Plus you DID say this would be easier and more coherent and I got tired of waiting around for someone else to do it 🙂
We’ve also got a time issue here…. let me move it up….
I’m almost finished a legend type thing to put on the locations and restaurant sites to explain the various icons, like the dollar signs and their price ranges. Hopefully it’ll be posted in the next couple days.
Very cool. Is there any fix on the log out time? Also, is there any way to get rid of the “preview” feature when posting (this was a suggestion from Mole Rat on one of the other posts)
No movement on the preview – gotta give those people who are drinking and bitching a chance to double check their work.
Good enough then, when updating your profile, if you save your password (like I do because I have to re-log in every 30 minutes) using your profile, it auto fills that field. Is there any way to move the password change feature to another link, that way if you tell your browser to save the password, you don’t have to worry about it when you update something as minuscule as the status.
I’m still having problems submitting a new bitch. Hitting submit only refreshes the page for me. Are there still some problems with this function?

There appears to be a two or three minute window of dead time after I post a bitch. Don’t know if it’s related or not.

perhaps you’re being brought to the post-submit page and you don’t know it? I see a potential problem– the top of the post-submitting page looks just like the top of the pre-submitting page. But if you scroll down, you’ll see this:
“Thanks for your bitch! It’s been forwarded to our LTTWB editor/enforcer who will review it, then post it. Your bitch may take up to 12 hours to be posted on the site (for example, on week-ends or late at night), but usually it shouldn’t take that long. If you have another bitch, click here.”
But that’s a problem– you should be able to tell right away, without scrolling down.
Hmm, i’ve never seen that message at the bottom of the page after submitting. The only thing i’ve ever seen is the same page refreshing itself after i’ve hit submit, with my bitch still typed in the text box. It could be something i’m doing..but i’ve tried a few times with more than one bitch, so i’m having my doubts.
