This bitch is to anyone who decides that it is okay to play music out of their cellphones for all to hear. There is a headphone jack in those contraptions. Please use it. I have heard it while standing in line in the hospital, while at work, and on the bus, and you MUST know that it is obnoxious. Seriously. Not to mention that the sound quality is usually shit and your hand is usually muffling the speaker to make the sound even worse.

Agreed. It reminds me of the 80’s when people used to run around with boomboxes on their shoulders. At least then the music quality was better.
They just need to let everyone else know how cool they and their music collection is.
I miss the days of the boombox. As kids we used to think it was sooo cool to hold it up to the side of our head in one arm listening to the cranked beats of NKOTB. We was hard muthafuckaz.
My new phone is also an mp3 player but I don’t know how to use it. It does turn on in my pocket all the time when I bend my leg just right to hit some special combination of buttons that I can’t for the life of me figure out intentionally. It makes for some interesting/embarrassing moments. I’m such a luddite.
I have satellite radio on mine that randomly turns on as well! I get mortified when it happens. Worst time it happened was during an assembly at my kids school. I almost cried I was so embarrassed!
I keep my headphones plugged in now cuz they double as a headset.
I’ve also got 23 pictures of the inside of my pocket.
celphones are either a curse or blessing. some fools just like to bug people with their loud, incesssent yammering, like on buses.and then you have the dildos that can’t seem to hear the other party on the line,so they crank up the volume for everyone to hear.can’t you fucken people go 5 minutes out of a day without those things.they,next to loud car stereos,are the most distracting thing around.i use one,but keep it turned off til i want it,and if it is on,it is on vibrate. try that sometime, maybe you won’t get so many dirty fucken looks from people who just want a quiet ride home, or where ever.

Miles me too! Going thru my pics and I have to laugh. I have a keyboard lock but I don’t ever think to turn it on.

Broc, I have a flip phone and I haven’t figured out how to lock out only the buttons on the side which you have to push in some combination to activate the mp3 player or camera. I’ve tried to figure it out a couple of times but it doesn’t bug me enough to bother researching it further.
On most phones, keypad lock is simply “menu, *” to turn on or off. As for locking only the side buttons, I’d need to know the phone model to look it up to see if it can be done.
But I LOVE it when people do that! You get this nice little bit of music as you walk by them. 😀
