Montreal is the worst city ever. Montrealers act like they’re the
centre of the universe, but they’re not. Montreal Canadiens suck.

Montreal Rules! Toronto is the city that sucks…
I’ve never been to Montreal, but I happen to know that Toronto is awesome, NW.
never been… heard they have a nice “strip” though…
I gots plenty-o-loonies and wouldn’t mind seeing it.
montreal is the funnest city in canada but i wouldn’t want to live there(they don’t really like anglophile:blockheads) Toronto is a nice place to live if you can afford to live in: the beaches;high park;rosedale;forest hill;cabbagetown; but if your poor it sucks big time scarberia is a fuck’n hell hole ;lived there for 8 years.
and with your attitude OP, your no better. So you have some bad run ins with people that’s no reason to hate the province.
you don’t mean to say that montrealer’s aren’t the center, shit, then it must be toronto?
uh.. montreal is easily the best city in the country for a lot of reasons. Go fuck yourself OP
Scarborough is like Sackville…with guns.
guns, knives, baseball bats, crack, angel dust, crystal; heroin, oxy, huffers, gangs, schizoids, cracks hows etc. other than that it’s lovely
Montreal is a world-class city, with world class strippers. Beyond that, Old Montreal is second only to Quebec City in terms of French Colonial architecture. I loved getting lost in that area, and just hopping a subway back to my hotel. Also, one trip alone into the inner sanctum of Notre Dame, you realise why people were God-Fearing. Quebec as a province is a great place as long as you speak a little french. They see the fact that you try to learn the language, and in the Quebecois culture that’s a big deal. They’ll back off of the whole let’s stone the Anglo thing.
Toronto is a massive shit-hole. Too American for my taste, much like Calgary (new name: New Dallas). On a warm day, you can smell Hamilton, and you’re a short drive from the second most worst place on the planet: Buffalo, New York.
Visited Montreal for the first time this summer and have to say it’s the best Canadian city I’ve visited so far. Mind you I’ve only ever been to Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and of course Halifax. I have a feeling that this asshat OP is just a Canadiens hater and has probably never visited the place.
In all fairness, the Habs do blow.
the best peelers in the world are found in hull clubs omfg there so good looking that your all why are you doing this than you remember there making more per hour than a mouth piece and its less degrading
peelers? and no hands? pretty sure ontario lets you squeeze em a bit.
and again, they have wonderland….
may have to make a detour for a couple days though next time I head that way to get a truer comparison.
the brass rail on yonge is definitely in the a loop caddys in scarberia not so much
had to check on streetview… just to see.
hmmmm, brass rail is across the street from a shoe store, a nail salon, and a quick cash store…. that was some good planning on their part.
Just don’t head to Remington’s on Yonge, zZz, unless you want to look at nekkid boys… mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
c,mon the leafs suck too
Montreal is awesome. Awesome food, strippers, and shopping all within walking distance. I know I could never afford to live there, or want to really (though deep down I probably do) but man is it awesome to visit.
This was obviously written by a bitter Leafs fan. Enjoy another 42 years of no Stanley Cups.
Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Habs Go! Give me Montreal or give me death!
once i walked into a place called the quest at yonge and wellsley and i’m like wht is the coat check dude dressed like a cowboy oh well surely there is a logical explanation; walked into the bar area and there were men being very effectionate to each other ahhh! run away run away!
You DO know wellsley is the gaybourhood, right, martym? LOL
BUT… The girls are mind-blowingly hot!
having worked at strip club in niagara falls, i know for a fact that many many many strippers that are in montreal are from local “talent” sent up to avoid jealous boyfriends, and vice versa from montreal down to Niagara Falls. Add in ukranian, russian etc “work visa” applicants, and you have what really is the north and south of the strippers in Canada.
I love Montreal too! And the Canadiens don’t suck, the Leafs suck, so fuck the leafs. If it wasn’t for the French… err, I mean, “language barrier,” I’d love to live there. So much to do. I love the old houses and neighbourhoods. The bagels are awesome. Such a colourful city full of character.
Toronto’s OK too, it has its good and bad parts like most big cities.
I know I could never afford to live there, or want to really (though deep down I probably do) but man is it awesome to visit.
rent there in very safe areas of the city is like 550 for a two bedroom you realize right?
Cuja12: would that strip happen to be Mints? I used to live in Niagara Falls and was an occasional patron of Mints.
Sodeypop & dgaf: Hell yes! Habs 4 Life!! 42 years since the Leafs won a damn cup. Shows just how much they suck and this season is a prime example!
ahh it was like 30years ago and i was young and naive and just recently moved from a small town so at the time no i did not know
it’s cheaper to live in Montreal than Halifax, you don’t need to learn french and is much safer than Toronto.
I’ll tell you for a fun clean happening big town/small city you can’t beat Kingston On. “A” university;good dining; nit3e life etc. a little pricey housing though
Kingston, Ontario? Don’t they have something like five penitentiaries there? I had a friend who went to Queen’s and didn’t like it. She said apart from a few areas, the city was boring and sketchy. She never felt safe there.
Honestly though, maybe I’m just biased, but apart from Montreal it’s pretty hard to beat Halifax!
really she didn’t feel safe? wow its about as white bread as it comes although yes there’s a max secur. pen; Halifax is very nice though but there is f all work for my trade so i just gotta a gig in whistler for the olympics yea baby euro ski babes a gogo
swing by the chalet while you’re at it… with a little luck… (ok, who am I kidding, it’d take a freakin miracle) we’ll all be rockin the slopes.
Monteal is awesome…Tough city to live in though. Cold Winters and Humid Summers. Really busy lifestyle as well.
I wouldn’t knock a place until you spent at least 1 year of your life there….Then you really know what it is like.
