Who is with me to put pressure on HRM to regulate paying parking lots fines?
There are 20-plus parking lots in HRM with attendants monitoring the clock from an IPhone that can “boot” your car as soon as your time goes ding! “Expired” and it will cost you $115 to get your car out of there! Talk to your city counsellor, it’s legal because it’s not regulated, so they can charge what they want! —Ethical

So wait. You broke the rules on a private lot and are mad you have to pay the fine?
You can buy a cordless grinder for less than that, just sayin’.
I got one of those boots in the private parking lot at Subway on Quinpool. I parked there and crossed the street to get cash from the bank so I could pay the food at Subway. By the time I got back I had a boot. It took them over 30 min to come and get the boot off. They are fast to boot you so they can get your money. They don’t care how long you are there. This is steeling not compliance.
