You carry a sign that tells us that a $2 million snow crab license was “ignored” by the DFO office because of “political influence”. That’s it? No website? No contact info? No info on who in the DFO people can bitch to? Just a man and his sign hanging out on street corners.
I call bullshit. If your accusations were actually true, you’d have literature explaining things and contact info to go with it. What probably happened was you poorly spelled the application, said you wanted to go over crab quota, said a few lines about nuking the whales, wrote in the “Do not write in this area” area, and forgot to put your name on it to boot. Political influence my ass!
And another thing, why aren’t you hassling the DFO, or lobbying your fellow crab fisherman to march on the DFO office, or blockading the driveway to BIO? Instead, you stand with a sign with little detail. Nobody’s gonna help you until you help yourself.
