A lone woman is just as entitled to walk down a street after dark as anyone else, WITHOUT being harassed (intimidatingly or otherwise) by ANYONE. By your assessment, once it hits 6pm women shouldn’t leave their houses without an escort of some kind, to avoid this kind of attention.

We SHOULD live in a society where ANYONE can walk down ANY street ANY time of day. BUT we don’t, so people have to be responsible for their own safety because there isn’t always a good citizen around to help you out if you’re in distress.
