I noticed recently in my local ‘Dirty Bird’ a sign advertising their new “Taste of Asia” meal. Mystified, I asked myself: Could they be turning over a new leaf? Are they now serving bok choy, sushi, and nice curry perhaps? I admit, I’m a little naive about such matters. So I googled it. Apparently, it’s the same crap they always serve, just with Szechuan spice sprinkled on top.
This isn’t a bitch. It’s a thank-you to the kind folks at KFC for opening my eyes to the world of exoticism that is the Orient.
