She has no right to snoop on the internet? Kiddo, everyone from your Mom to Guam has the freedom to see whatever you’re dumb enough to make public.
I wish they’d specified what the photos involve. Sure people have the freedom to see what you make public, but why assume that it was something super-outrageous? Some people, including some moms, ARE just busybodies.
Having said that it amazes me the idiots who don’t seem to care that every photo they post is actually out there for the world to see as SwampDonkey says…if you can manage to figure out how to make a profile, you can manage to figure out who will and won’t be seeing it. Then again, some people just couldn’t care less.

You put those pics up on the internet so…if you didn’t want people (your mother for example) to see them then don’t put them on FB. Just because it’s “your” facebook page doesn’t mean it isn’t festering in the bowels of the internet forever. Nothing ever goes away on the internet, dude.
Whenever *I* put pics and shit up on my FB page (or on the internet otherwise) I always use the “would I want my mother to see this” test and if the answer is “no” I just don’t post it. My mom’s not on my FB, but things can always get back to people you don’t want it to.
You have to be VERY careful about the internet these days — anyone from family to potential employers can look you up and find all sorts of crap you “thought” was on your private FB page.
If you post it on the internet, then people most certainly DO have a right to snoop around because it’s the fucking INTERNET. Nothing’s off limits on the internet :|

I’ve always lived by the philosophy “don’t make a sex tape because it’ll probably end up on the internet”…EVERYTHING ends up on the internet these days…esp now with cell phones with cameras and such.
