OP here. The couple in question are my parents. I’m staying with them while I’m in town on a work assignment for a couple months. It’s not so much the noise late at night, it’s the fact that these two people should just end it. They’ve been doing this my entire life and my greatest wish growing up was that they would actually get divorced. Why do two unhappy people stay together? I know it’s hard to make a major life change, but come on!
