After years and years of dating horrid boys that I thought I could fix and change, my mother gave me the most simple and true advice I’d ever received: “Instead of dating men that you need to change, why don’t you just wait and find someone that you want for who they are?” At the time I was thinking… right, that’s easier said than done, but it stuck with me. Sure enough however, about a month later I found you! You’re the most caring, loving person I know. You love me unconditionally, you do not judge and you love me just the way I am or any way I’ll ever be.
