Funny how our MLA’s are being owed all this money. THOUSANDS of dollars.And who are we to argue whether it’s right or not. But the story coming out at this time of the year is kind of depressing. It’s always the Government that gets the back pay and all the tax payers look forward to is more taxes.

Please read the local newspapers and get the correct information! You are referring to the city council members who are owed money because of a clerical error.

I believe this situation is because of a clerical error made a few years ago. They are owed the money because they were entitled to it in the first place. It’s not “extra” money, or any kind of bonus or raise, in my understanding.
Wouldn’t you insist on the same thing if there had been a similiar mistake made on your paycheques over a long period of time?
Mistakes happen, and then if all goes well they get corrected.
Yep a mistake is a mistake – had them happen to me where i got money owed because of them – but i do find it funny they find it right before xmas ? Happy holidays !!!!
