oh boy; I smell trouble.
Legal Immigration is fine, my issue is with illegal immigration attempts where the feds kiss their asses with all kinds of gifts, including immediate healthcare, while we already have people on waiting lists for the same services.
Is there anyone in Ottawa that has a set of balls these days and can say “no”?
The simple answer is no. Because if someone said yes, then the bleeding hearts would go around and yell Nazi government. Oops wait now, they already are.
Aren’t the baby boomers about to put a huge strain on taxpayers? My building seems to be cholk full of newcomer’s… and it is not a cheap building my friends. You need to upgrade your training and improve your educational background if your having trouble finding a job. It’s that simple.
At least the baby boomers contributed to the tax base over their years and therefore should have access to housing, social and medical programs.
Why Ottawa is housing, feeding and caring for these illegal newcomers is beyond comprehension when we have war vets and regular people having hard luck and living on the streets, begging for food and not receiving adequate health care, be it mental issues or physical ailments that might be partially to blame for their situations.

War costs more I’m sure. Some of those “illegal migrants” are legitimate refugees who had no choice but to flee their country because they will be persecuted if they had stayed or went back.
