I can only imagine how said cashier wanted to deck you, mostly because I felt similarly. Yeah, I’m sure people who are intollerant to something are going to change their minds because some guy said something to them in a lineup. **note sarcasm** you can’t force tollerance on someone, you can “legislate” acceptable terminology, but nothing is going to change someones mind about something that makes them feel uncomfortable. Groups in the religious community (moreso than any other group), are staunchly against homosexuality and aggresively preach intollerance, and under the eyes of the law is acceptable. Why do you continually attack tollerant/accepting people, Meaty? All of your posts regarding anything homosexual are extremely angry, and show constant disdain for anything/anyone that is not “radical” in their ire against intollerance. When you are labelled “different”, which, having parades to celebrate your “difference” would suggest, perhaps a certain level of acknoledgement to the fact that there will always be a segment of society that will never be tollerant would be a good first step in toning down your anger. Rednecks will be rednecks, to the best of my knoledge there isn’t a cure for that.
