I’m so busy in life right now, and got a lot going on but you need to know I care about you a lot and in so many different ways. I don’t show you like I want to but sometimes when I let it slip and do show you I know it gives you false hope because I take it away again.
It’s really not because I don’t like you, I do, and I know you’re finally different from the rest of the pack but I just need time. I don’t want to lose you but I can’t hold on to you right now either. If only I could get my head straight before I lose the one person that makes relationships seem worthwhile.
Hopefully I don’t wait too long. You make me smile.

It sucks being on the receiving end of a situation like this. Makes it hard to move on when you think there is a chance it could work.
You can’t have your cake and eat it, and you can’t really be “just friends” with someone you’re actually in love with. Better to cut her loose, and let her move on. You might never get your head straight. Do you really think you deserve to have her waiting indefinitely?
