If there are any people out there from Boston: Hello. I miss you Beantown, a positive nickname. I like my commute to Lexington with all my fellow commuters. Your bars and nooks and huge malls. My apartment and things. You rubbed off on me and I on you. You gave me understanding and life. I had fun at work and of course at home. I liked your profile from front to back and your glow of all those lights. I embraced you and you hugged me. So sad to leave but I had no choice as my body let me down. BOSTON stayed strong for me and tried to help somebody not from you. We did share a few generations from those shoe-making days and you knew of our strength and stamina. Our blood had intermingled a long time ago so when I needed help you were there and I still love you, nothing like your concrete and air, car pollution and tangled highways. I loved it all despite the green thoughts now. Oh the hell with the green thoughts, I’d rather have you!
