I crossed over the bridge to Bree tonight. I had to meet some friends at the Prancing Pony. They never showed but the evening wasn’t a complete waste. I got to listen to an old friend play and sing. He writes fanciful songs about love and loss and just plain living. I hadn’t seen him in a long time and it was good to sit and listen.
He’s Tom Bombadil to me, but most know him as Old Man Luedecke. Just one more reason to love Nova Scotia. Thanks again Tom… I mean Old Man! —Longshanks

Didn’t make it to the show last night, but I’m now starting my day with him in me headphones. Good daystarter, thanks!
Mr. Bombadil = King of the Nazgul ?
there’s debate… but yeah.
He was great. Always tons of fun. He spends lots of time in my hometown, so it was great to see him on the big stage – though I do like his intimate shows a lot as well. Funny guy 🙂
over bywater through the woody end across baranduin, i come from Michael Delving on the White Downs.
