I’m sorry but how is the Ecology Action Centre membership magazine a responsible contribution to our environment? Eight-plus colour printing with photos? Trucking and labour to get these things in the mailbox? Really?
Love the “NO FLYERS” mailbox stickers you guys give out though. —Trees R US

What is FSC certified paper and veggie ink.

Hi Trees R US, thank you for your question.
Ecology & Action Magazine is printed on recycled paper (FSC Mix – 50% recycled fibre, 25% post-consumer) using vegetable based inks and distributed by regular mail. It is also available digitally.
We give our members the option to choose which format is most accessible for them. This limits the number of physical copies produced while ensuring our publication is accessible to our members.
As a member-based organization, the Ecology Action Centre believes it is important to keep our communications accessible, allowing members to stay informed on issues pertaining to climate change, environmental justice, and biodiversity protection and enabling them to take action.
