To the people who routinely show up unfashionably late, or cancel last minute, or repeatedly don’t show up at all I’m sorry that you either believe or behave like your time has more value then everybody else’s. The appropriate circle of hell for you folks is one where you are constantly hungry because your dinner plans constantly get cancelled and you don’t have any groceries at home despite the opportunity to purchase them earlier, but you didn’t, because you were relying on the dinner plans you’d already committed to. Sucks, doesn’t it? Your behaviour is not cute—it’s rude, inconsiderate, and self-centred. —The little hand indicates the hour, jackass

  1. If this is happening to you a lot, Little…Jackass, maybe your friends are trying to tell you something about how much time they want to spend with you. An expanded social circle might be just the thing you need.

  2. Some people have social problems, dude. They make plans with people they like, not only because they DO want to, but also to make the other person happy when they know that going out will be stressful for them. The pressure builds until it’s too late to get out of it reasonably and they cancel. I know a lot of people with this problem, but being a more compassionate individual, I guess I’m just capable of greater understanding than you?
