Lately Metro transit drivers have been taking a lot of flak. I would like to say thank you to all the much maligned drivers who do the very best job they can under very stressful circumstances. Dealing with the public everyday certainly must be very demanding, God bless you all.

  1. As a driver, I can say first hand that comments like this can easily melt away all the negativity the media has rained upon us. People thanking me as they leave the bus is one of the great feelings that keep me on the road, and keep us in a good mood for the passengers to come.

  4. Agreed. For every grumpy or worse bus driver, there is one who greets me with a smile, readily answers my questions if I have any, or even waits for me if I am running for the bus stop. Go bus drivers! I know most of you are doing your very best.
