I had to hobble my way to work today on crutches and I had just crossed the crosswalk, barely stepping my good foot on the sidewalk, when the car “waiting” for me drove through the four way… luckily for both of us I didn’t wobble or fall backwards. I cursed him out in my head and just then, people in another car at the four way – going the opposite direction as I was headed – rolled down their window and asked if I had far to go. It was so appreciated. Unfortunately I was at my building… I kind of wish I had further to go just so I could have gotten to know them 🙂
(And yesterday I kind of fell going up the stairs to my building and another person helped me out… 🙂
