This city is still in the Dark Ages. Why the hell can’t I bring my dog on the bus or ferry? Why are there no actual dog parks here? If I wanted to bring my dog to the only off-leash dog-friendly area in the city, I have to go all the way to Point Pleasant Park, but guess what? I have to drive because Halifax Transit is so god damn lame they don’t allow them. Why can I bring my dog on a street car, ferry, bus AND subway in any other city in Canada? (Also, the Common or that fenced-in parking space beside it doesn’t count as dog parks either, folks.)

Boo-freaking-hoo. Not everyone wants to embrace your precious fur baby. First world problem.
Well it’s like this OB…here is a list of all the designated off-leash dog parks in the city…one of them is DEDICATED.

If there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s people using the internet to twist reality as though we were all living in some sort of god damned alternate universe.
And as for you bringing your bloody mutt onto the buses and ferry – how bout this : The answer is NO.
Oh and this shit you’re spreading about being able to take the dog on buses and street cars and subways? BULLSHIT. It’s a figment of your imagination and if you’re making an issue about driving all the way to point pleasant park, I highly doubt you have any knowledge of what goes on in “Any other city in Canada”.
Fuck off.
There’s an off-leash park in Clayton Park beside Soccer NS…just saying
