dear university health clinic,
screw you for scolding me for seeking treatment. as a student, i think i should be entitled to your services whether i have a family doctor or not. i needed to be seen today, my doctor couldn’t see me, the walk-in clinic couldn’t see me, and there’s no way i was going to emerg for a sore throat. i took up a whopping five minutes of your time, i hope you don’t speak to all of your patients that way.
now for the love portion:
dear pharmacy,
you are always so helpful and kind, you apologize for waits even when there hardly is one and answer all of my questions intelligently and with confidence.
thank you for your continuous, excellent customer service.
(handsomeness is helpful too, it’s just too bad it seems inappropriate to ask the pharmacist out on a date!)
—down with shitty doctors, long live the helpful pharmacist!

This used to happen to me when I went to a university in the valley. I had a family doc in Kentville, but wait times to see her were about 3 weeks long. And the walk in clinic didn’t open until 5pm and the waits were HOURS there. The only time I’d go to the clinic at the university was when I had an infection — usually pneumonia or bronchitis (I used to get both a lot) and if certain docs were working I’d get some major passive aggressive scolding. But I don’t think it’s unreasonable to want to be seen immediately for a lung infection and not wait three weeks for treatment. But healthcare in rural areas (general care — surgery and test wait times are usually shorter than HRM) is the shits.
Anyway, which university is this, OP? I have a family doc in HRM, but when I couldn’t get in I went to the clinic at smu and the doctor I saw there was SO helpful and told me that even though I have a family doc their clinic is good for things you need to see someone for right away and has even referred me to a specialist! The clinic at the mount was awesome too, but when I went there I didn’t have a family doc and just kept using their services. They have *awesome* doctors there — shame they weren’t taking on new patients in their private practices 🙁
Smiles for the love thrown out to pharmacists… I am sure most people don’t even realize the wealth of knowledge that is available if you go and speak to one of them (and about anything medical….)
Not sure what happened at your clinic though…… I had to go to a university clinic (albeit not in NS… at UPEI) with a horribly infected throat and remember coming away from it with helpful advice and a prescription. Perhaps they were scolding you for the reason you had the sore throat in the first place (?) I’m interested in knowing what exactly they said to you, because doctors scolding people who legitimately seek treatment just does not seem to comply with any code of medical ethics…..
hopefully this bitch got some sizzurp.
stop sucking diseased cock, and you won’t have a sore throat, or asshole.
